WIFI
Wildwood Institute for Family Interventions
WIFI is dedicated to facilitate healing of Addiction, Mental Health and Religious Traumas from within the family. These diagnoses do not occur in isolation, they effect the entire family system. With these traumas the hurts go deep, thus clinically informed professional intervention is essential. While Dr Mike Hinkley is well known for his work with the LGBTQ+ community, WIFI is available for all family regardless of identification or gender of the person of concern.
Evidence based healing within the family setting can bring longterm gains and successful outcomes, returning the struggling individual to being Fully Alive and enjoying their gifts and loves once again. Even families that have seen communication fall and relationships strained can find healing with a Comprehensive Intergenerational Family Intervention. A 6 month journey from struggles to a healthy person and family Fully Alive.
Dr. Mike Hinkley is uniquely qualified for this critical life affirming and life saving work. He brings to his work knowledge, experience and remarkable empathy for the individual and family. Dr. Mike served 20 years as a Catholic priest before choosing to continue his service as a psychotherapist specializing in Substance Abuse Disorders; first in several rehabs and then in his own practice, Positive Choices Therapy, LLC and his award winning Recovery at Wildwood Farm, LLC that uniquely addresses the LGBTQ+ community’s needs. He is an accomplished and sought after psychotherapist that now has developed the WIFI. This new program is a continuation of work that has been done at Wildwood for the last 9 years. WIFI focuses on Comprehensive Intergenerational work making the family system part of the healing program.
