About

Wildwood Farm

Beauty, Peace,
and Recreation

The Wildwood property was managed as a small working farm for over 200 years by the same family until Dr. Mike Hinkley purchased it for the purpose of extended sober housing.  Bringing together the affirmation of a supportive sober house with the natural beauty of a landmark farm, Wildwood is a very special place for personal reflection and healing.  Today the farm continues to have a flock of egg chickens, Berkshire pigs, lambs, and gardens of herbs and vegetables.  The property is centrally located between the beautiful villages of Madison and Guilford, Connecticut and convenient to numerous shoreline activities: beaches, horseback riding, an active 12 Step community and the many cultural offerings of Yale University, Boston and New York City.  The farm offers each resident an active lifestyle with a peaceful oasis to call home.

Life on the Farm

Residents at the farmhouse enjoy its beautiful and comfortably decorated rooms, as well as, the peace offered by the land, animals, and gardens.  The working farm is complimented by both the farm-to-table culinary program and the other activities offered by the Connecticut Shoreline making Wildwood Farm a very special place to take time, find peace, and heal.  You can do this!
